"The experts" said the blossoms were poor this year due to the long and heavy winter (see below), but the blossoms were still amazing!

Jeff and Laura get married

The first weekend in May we went to Kansas City for Laura and Jeff's wedding. Killian was a flower girl! It was a fantastic weekend for everyone and I only wish our photos had turned out better.

White Christmas

The winter of 2002-2003 was one of the snowiest in over a decade. As I mentioned, we had moved "South." Anyway, we had all of the trappings of a great holiday: snow, a Christmas tree, family, and of course, a 24 pound turkey.

Honors Chorus

Killian was in honors chorus and performed with 220 other 5th graders from Montgomery County.

Ocean City

When school was out we took a much-deserved three days off and went to Ocean City, Maryland. Were a minute from the beach and spent almost the entire time on the beach.

Birthday Party

Killian got to celebrate her birthday with her friends at home this year. She decided on a Hawaiian theme and it was a hit! The girls learned to hula, had contests and slept over. It was a great time for Killian, who received many wonderful gifts and even had "Happy Birthday" sung to her in Swedish .
